Think of Dunne Park as your friendly neighborhood photo spot in Rosemont. It’s got that easygoing vibe, perfect if you want something simple and green. Not
You’ll get some nice open spaces and a relaxed feel. It’s like a chill hangout spot, but for your photos.
You will need a permit though, FYI.

Cantigny in Wheaton: Gardens and Grandeur

I can easily say that Cantigy is one of my favorites. Gardens, historic mansions, open fields, and, yes, actual military tanks.
You’ll get a mix of formal gardens and natural landscapes. Plenty of backdrops to go around.
The permit is the entrance fee. Be prepared to wander. It’s a big place!

Anderson Japanese Gardens in Rockford: Zen and Serenity

Think koi ponds, waterfalls, charming bridge. Anderson Japanese Gardens was a pleasant surprise for me tp photograph at.
You’ll get beautiful bridges, ponds, and perfectly manicured gardens. It’s like a work of art.
It’s a bit of a drive, but totally worth it if you want that unique look.

Riverwalk in Naperville: Water and Charm

Naperville’s Riverwalk is like a picturesque stroll by the water. Cute bridges, pretty views, and a charming downtown.
You’ll get that small-town feel, with a touch of elegance.
It’s a popular spot, not only because of the beauty, but there’s plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby, so expect some company.

The Suburban Photo Reality Check

Driving is a must. These places are spread out, so you’ll be spending some time in the car.
